Walking the line between rock climbing and hill walking, scrambling has become increasingly popular amongst adventurous hill walkers in recent years. Snowdonia is quite simply a scrambling mecca with famous routes such as the Crib Goch Traverse and Tryfan’s north ridge being the very tip of a large and exciting iceberg.

Our guided mountaineering days can be tailored to suit a wide range of abilities. Minimum age – 8yrs

Although we can tailor scrambling itineraries to suit most needs, we do recommend that participants have had some basic experience in exposed mountain walking terrain before booking this experience. If you’re new to the mountains and looking to gain experience on steeper ground, a guided mountain walking day might be a better place to start.

For those wanting to develop their technical skills, we also offer instructional scrambling and mountaineering courses.
